Yes. Before you pay, every new version is free, you simply fill in the form again. After you pay, you write to us saying which line is off and get a new version at no extra cost, up to six times.
Before you pay it is not a correction at all, it is simply another run. You see the complete lyrics before any money changes hands. If a verse is off, you fill in the details again, add the memory that was missing, and five to ten minutes later a second version is ready. That is unlimited and free.
After the purchase it runs through one email to songs@maxkuch.com. Write which line bothers you and what it should say instead, ideally with the exact spelling of the name. We produce a new version without charging you again, and we keep going until the result is usable, up to six new versions.
Anything in the text can change: a misspelled name, a nickname the family uses differently, a memory you forgot to mention, a line that lands in the wrong tone. Mood, musical style and voice can be swapped for the new version as well, so you are not locked into the first direction.
One thing is technically impossible: replacing a single word inside the existing recording and leaving the rest untouched. Every new version is sung from scratch, so melody, phrasing and voice sound similar but not identical. Even for a small correction you get a genuinely new recording, and the earlier one stays available in your account link.
In practice that means collecting your change requests in one email instead of sending them one at a time. Each round takes another five to ten minutes, and three wishes at once get you there faster than three emails in sequence.
